Do you ever experience
- "senior moments" (I just had my keys...where are they now?)
- flabby thinking
- wandering mind
- shortness of ideas
- a sluggish imagination
- 20/20 hindsight?
GOOD NEWS! Research shows that, just as we can tone physical muscles and build athletic skills, we can also maintain and develop our mental faculties as we age!
The key is disciplined, regular PRACTICE!
Mental Aerobics is a series of energizing, delightful meetings that
exercise and develop mental abilities and attitudes that research and experience associate with vibrant, insightful thinking and successful, happy aging.
In a playful and supportive spirit, we use individual, paired, and small-group activities that develop mental muscles such as:
- clear thinking
In the process, we'll also s-t-r-e-t-c-h our imaginations and reinforce important attitudes and behaviors essential to survival in this world of accelerating change, such as:
- shedding unwanted mental blocks
- questioning assumptions
- being patient with uncertainty, and
- communicating clearly.
Our next public series begins in late Spring.
Private sessions and presentations at parties and special events are also available.
